In the last month of the internship, the director of Accardo thought that Accardo had obtained abilities and provided him the opportunity to interview Mr. Tong Zhao of Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy. This interview was also one of the most memorable events of his internship.

“This seemed mission impossible to me at the beginning of my internship, but after several months to accumulate work experience and expertise, I successfully completed the task. This interview was also one of the most unforgettable experience in my entire internship. The exchange with Mr. Zhao Tong, in addition to issues related to policy areas, centered on his personal academic experience, the participation of the younger generation in public affairs, etc. After interviewing Mr. Zhao and having an in- depth conversation with him, I gradually realized that some important issues that we usually think seem to be distant from us are contributing to a new and indispensable sustainable impact on society in our daily actions.”
